Amarok Completes 100% Acquisition of McNeil Property, Timmins ON Canada
Jul 06, 2011

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, July 6, 2011 " Amarok Resources Inc.(OTCBB: AMOK) Amarok Resources Inc. (the “Company” or “Amarok”) updates shareholders on company activities.

McNeil Property, Ontario Canada:The company is pleased to announce it has completed the acquisition of the McNeil property from Warrior Ventures. The McNeil property is located within the Abitibi Greenstone belt, approximately 30 miles southeast of Timmins, Ontario, Canada and approximately 35 miles west of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada. The Abitibi Greenstone belt is host to one of North America’s largest gold producing districts. The Property includes 256 claim units, approximately 10,100 acres (4100 hectares), and consists of numerous high-grade shafts and past showings along with many new discoveries made through past work programs. There are extensive gold mineralization occurrences and zones throughout the property. One zone, known as the Isadore-MicMac zone covers an area of 1.2 miles by 0.6 miles and has numerous gold showings. Given the size and extent of the Isadore-MicMac zone, the potential exists for a large tonnage, "Super-Pit" style gold enrichment similar to those being currently mined near Timmins Ontario such as the Porcupine Gold Mines. Porcupine Gold Mines is owned by GoldCorp and consists of the Hoyle Pond and Dome underground mines.

The Company will begin its work program on its wholly owned McNeil property by initiating an airborne geophysical survey over the Isadore Mic-Mac area followed by an extensive ground geophysical survey. The airborne survey is expected to begin within the next month.

Rodeo Creek Gold property, Nevada: Drilling on the company’s current hole, AMK10-04 has been temporarily suspended due to drilling difficulties that have been encountered at approximately 2800 ft. An extremely silicified zone combined with shearing and faulting has been encountered at this depth. Numerous attempts with a variety of diamond drill bits were made to penetrate through this silicified zone, but after consuming several bits without making any progress a decision was made to release the rig. The company is now negotiating with another drill contractor that has a larger drill rig, which we believe will be able to penetrate the silicified section. The expected depth of the hole is approximately 3300ft. This section of highly silicified, sheared and faulted zone had not been encountered in previous drilling on the property. The objective of AMK10-04 is to test the potential for a deep-seated high-grade auriferous structure believed to be the source of gold mineralization found at shallow depth in the nearby Flower area.

The Rodeo Creek property is located in the northern portion of the prolific gold-producing Carlin Trend which hosts as many as 30 past and currently producing gold mines, on which more than 100 million ounces of gold production and inventory had been identified to 2003, including the world class Goldstrike, Meikle and Carlin mines.

Amarok Resources is a US based mineral exploration and development Company, focusing on the acquisition and development of Gold and Silver projects which demonstrate high probability for near term production. Amarok is a fully reporting public company trading under the symbol AMOK.
