01:38 PM EST, 12/11/2017 (MT Newswires) -- Colibri Resources (CBI.V) said Monday right before noon that it received drill results for the Pitaya gold project in Sonora, Mexico from joint venture partner Agnico Eagle Mines (AEM.TO), with highlights that include 2.2 meters grading 20.96 grams per tonne of gold and 57 g/t of silver from 181.6 meters; 25.0 meters grading 0.80 g/t of gold from 56 meters, including 13.6 meters grading 1.20 g/t of gold; and 29.3 meters grading 0.57 g/t of gold from 139 meters, including 3.0 meters grading 3.06 g/t of gold and 5.0 meters grading 1.14 g/t of gold.
Agnico Eagle is the operator of the project with a 66.33% stake, with Colibri holding the remaining 33.67% interest. Agnico Eagle has had two drills operating in Pitaya, completing a total of 7,286.55 meters in 26 drill holes in the most recent campaign, with assays received for 23 holes to Nov. 30.
Colibri shares were trading at $0.10 on last look for no change from the previous close, while Agnico Eagle shares were trading at $54.43, for a 1.2% loss.
