Dr. Allan H. Shapiro BSc, DDS, FAGD

Manager of Business Development

Dr. Shapiro founded ALDA, a private company in February, 1996 and is the developer of ALDA's infection control technology and products. Dr. Shapiro is responsible for the overall business development of ALDA and the development of future products. He received a BSc from Sir George Williams University, Montreal in 1968 and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from McGill University, Montreal in 1972. In 1979 he was awarded a Fellowship in the US Academy of General Dentistry and then practiced Dentistry for over twenty years. Dr. Shapiro is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and has co-authored scientific research papers on infection control.

Dr. Terrance G. Owen BSc, MSc, MBA, PhD

CEO, President and Director

Dr. Owen obtained a Bachelor of Science (with honours) in Biology from the University of Victoria in 1968, a Masters degree in Biology from the University of New Brunswick in 1970, a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of British Columbia in 1974 and a Masters in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, British Columbia in 1991. From December, 1980, until April, 2002, Dr. Owen was the President of Helix Biotech, a biotechnology laboratory providing DNA identity testing services for paternity, immigration and forensic cases. He founded Duft Biotech Capital Ltd. in May, 2000 as a Capital Pool Company. In November, 2003, Duft acquired the assets of Dr. Shapiro's private company and was renamed ALDA Pharmaceuticals Corp. Dr. Owen's previous experience with public companies includes: President and a Director of Helix BioPharma Corp. from July 1995 to June 1998, International Helix Biotechnologies Inc. from October 1993 to June 1995 and Helix Biotech Corporation from September 1987 to October 1993.

Dr. Linda Allison BSc, MSc, DIC, PhD

Director

Dr. Allison received a BSc (Honours) from Simon Fraser University in 1969, a MSc from the University of London, United Kingdom and a DIC from the Imperial College of Science and Technology in London, United Kingdom in 1972. She received her PhD from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada in 1978 based on research in the areas of neurophysiology, molecular biology and biophysics. She is the founder and President of Snowdon & Associates Management Consultants Ltd., a professional management consulting company that has provided services to pharmaceutical biotechnology, medical device and high technology companies for over 20 years. Since 1999, Dr. Allison has been an advisor to ALDA on the development of the Company's strategic business plan and its corporate financing activities. In addition, she spent six years in the corporate finance departments of investment banking and brokerage firms, during which time she assisted the financing of biomedical and high technology companies in both North America and Europe. Dr. Allison was appointed as CEO and a Director of MDX Medical a biomedical company that develops medical imaging technologies for the improved diagnosis and treatment of cancer, in May, 2003 and a Director of Duft Biotech Capital in June, 2003.

Dr. William McCoy, PhD Microbiology

Director

Dr. McCoy is Chief of Technology Officer for Phigenics, LLC, a life sciences technology company based in Chicago, Illinois. He serves on the World Health Organization (WHO) committee. Dr. McCoy received the Intellectual Property Law Association "2001 Inventor of the Year" award and has been commissioned to write a book for The International Water Association.

Peter Chen

CFO, Director and Secretary

Mr. Chen obtained a diploma in Accounting from Douglas College in 1993. From November 2000, to October 2003, Mr. Chen was the Chief Financial Officer of Prospect Point Exploration & Management Services Ltd., a private company that provides mineral exploration consulting services. He was the President of Canadian Mineral Exploration Managing Consultants Inc., a private company that provides mineral exploration services to publicly listed companies that have projects in Africa and South East Asia, from January 1997 to January 2000 and Chief Financial Officer from February 1994 to January 2000. Mr. Chen is currently a director of the Douglas College Foundation. Mr. Chen is a founding shareholder and director of Duft Biotech Capital which was created in May, 2000.

Dr. Brian Conway - MD, FRCPC

Scientific Advisory Board

Dr. Conway graduated from McGill University medical school in 1982. In 1998, he received an Award of Excellence from the Canadian Hemophilia Society for his life-long work with HIV and other blood-borne infections. He is actively involved in the evaluation of new anti-HIV drugs and has been awarded a number of grants to study acute/early HIV infection and treatment of infections in intravenous drug users. Dr. Conway conducted the original tests on the effectiveness of T36® against HIV. He has a thorough understanding of protocols and requirements for product development.

Dr. Michael Wilby - BSc, DDS, Cert. Periodontology

Scientific Advisory Board

Dr. Wilby is a graduate of McGill University in General Dentistry. He pursued his specialty training in Periodontology at the University of Oregon. He has established private practices in Vancouver B.C., Richmond B.C. and Whitehorse, Yukon Territories. Dr. Wilby provides specialty services in Periodontics and Dental Implants. He is a member of numerous dental organizations and has lectured in the Periodontology Department at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Wilby is a director and founder of ALDA Pharmaceuticals, with a strong foundation in infection control.

Dr. Ronald Zokol DMD

Director

Dr. Zokol graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia in 1974 and has been practicing dentistry for the last 26 years. He is the director of the Pacific Institute for Implant Dentistry and a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology, lecturing internationally in the fields of implant surgery and prosthodontics. In 1986, Dr. Zokol was elected President of the Vancouver and District Dental Society. Currently he also teaches advanced reconstructive dentistry. Dr. Zokol became a Director in November 2003.

Eugene Hodgson

Director

Mr. Hodgson is the president of Seeds Capital Inc., and E.A. Hodgson and Associates Inc. He currently serves as both CFO and Director of Sea Breeze Power Inc. and is a Director and co-founder of the "Families for School Seismic Safety" in BC. Mr. Hodgson is a former Director of the Vancouver Board of Trade and Treasurer of the Liberal Party of Canada
