Quite an interesting situation regarding gold this month.

Some analysts (Clive Maund & others) are predictiing a big correction especially in Silver. On the charts gold and silver are overbought and the commercials are heavily short silver, this is normally bearish for silver in the immediate future, gold and silver normally move in tandem.

Some also predicting plunge in the Dow.

However with Romney now in the lead over Obama, can the US administration risk a big downward correction in the market just before the US election. I should imagine they will do everything to prevent a major correction and this could be good for PM's. (more stimulus). If this scenario plays out then the predicted correction may be mild or non existent.

We can only sit back and watch! Predictions are precarious, who would have bet on Europe winning the Rider cup before the singles on the Sunday?
