Anatolia Minerals Development Limited Announces Increase in Previously Announced Financing to C$51.8 Million

Anatolia Minerals Development Limited (TSX:ANO) ("Anatolia") is pleased to announce that it has amended the terms of the previously announced bought deal with a syndicate of underwriters led by RBC Capital Markets ("RBC") to increase the size of the offering by an additional 5 million common shares ("the Shares") to a total offering of 28 million Shares at a price of C$1.85 per Share for gross proceeds of C$51.8 million. In addition, Anatolia has granted the Underwriters an option (the "Over-Allotment Option") to purchase up to an additional 3,450,000 Shares at a price of C$1.85 per Share to cover over-allotments, if any, and for market stabilization purposes.

A preliminary short-form prospectus will be filed with securities regulatory authorities in all provinces of Canada on or about January 29, 2009. The offering is expected to close on or about February 12, 2009.

Net proceeds of the offering will be used to fund development of the Copler Project. Any additional net proceeds will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.

The offering is being made in all provinces of Canada except Quebec by means of a short-form prospectus, and is subject to the approval of securities regulatory authorities. The securities to be offered have not been and will not be registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933 and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or applicable exemption from registration requirement.
