Anglo Canadian Oil Corp. Provides Operations Update
7/26/2010 9:00:26 AM - Market Wire

CALGARY, ALBERTA, Jul 26, 2010 (Marketwire via COMTEX News Network) --

Anglo Canadian Oil Corp. (TSX VENTURE:ACG) ("Anglo" or the "Corporation") has released the drilling rig on its Shane 7-11 well after drilling to a total depth of 2650m. A horizontal leg of approximately 1240m was reached and the horizontal wellbore was cased with a multistage fracing and acidizing assembly in order to fully exploit the fractured limestone, shale and dolomitic lenses encountered in the "Nordegg Member" shale formation.

We anticipate that completion work consisting of, but not limited too, swabbing, acidizing, and multi-stage fracturing will commence this week on Shane 7-11.

The drilling rig is moving to Anglo Sturgeon Lake South 15-10 and drilling is expected to be completed within 3 weeks. The well will be cored, logged and evaluated to determine if suitable for a horizontal wellbore.

Anglo is a Calgary, Alberta based Corporation engaged in the exploration, development and production of petroleum and natural gas. The Common Shares are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the trading symbol "ACG".
