Per press release of 9/22/09, Ascot announced an intercept of 11 meters of 50 g/t Au. This is on their property in the Premier Gold Camp north of Stewart, B.C.

Per press release of 11/23/09, Ascot mentioned other drill results in the area. One hit a silver zone, with an intercept of 13 meters of 55.6 g/t silver.

In both 2008 and 2009, drilling did not commence until June. I expect their drilling to start around that time also in 2010. So, this is one that would probably be best picked up as an investement in the summer, expecting news of first drill results in August or September, running through to around the end of the year.

But exploration will cease again when winter sets in and will not begin again until summer. In other words, this one is probably best traded on a seasonal basis, because the stock price will languish from lack of news through winter and spring.
