Atna short positions are down  to 5000 from a high of 251,000 in mid April .

In January 2005 they were 520,000 short, but with recent announcement of Barrick going ahead with $ 30 million worth of work on their Pinson property, I would think that going short on this Stock would be very risky .

Last year  the end of March, it got up to around the $ 2.50 range briefly , and  a couple of times this summer it has been close to $2.00 , so with a little good news who knows where it could go.
