Columbus Day Holiday Schedules

Our investor centers, U.S. stock markets, and UPS will be open on Columbus Day, Monday, October 13. However, banks, bond markets, and USPS will be closed.

Fidelity

• Investor Centers: Open Monday.
• Client Services: Open Monday.
• New Accounts and Maintenance: Open Monday.

Exchanges and markets

• NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, and all options exchanges: Open Monday.
• Bond markets: Closed Monday.
• Directed trading: Open Monday.
• Extended-hours trading: Open Monday.
• Specialty trading: Closing at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
• International trading: Most international markets are open on Monday. However, Canadian markets are closed for Thanksgiving.
  • International market and currency access: Orders entered through the Trade Stocks International Trade ticket will be queued for the next Canadian trading day.
• Listed fixed income market: Closed Monday.
• Over-the-counter fixed income market: Closed Monday.

Banks

• Federal Reserve Banks, Fedwire, Depository Trust Company (DTC), and personal banks: Closed Monday.

Mail and parcel delivery

• UPS: Open Monday.
• U.S. Postal Service: Closed Monday—inbound and outbound mail will be delayed by one day.
