This is big news. Though partnership discussions have just started, they have done so at a VERY high level.
Nasscom is more than just an association. It's members represent 95% of industry revenues. Moreover, they are investing heavily in human capital but have an overwhelming job "up-skilling" Indian talent, which makes a partnership with betterU a very smart move.
"Converting people to be productive and industry ready necessitates radical reform in multiple aspects of the Indian ecosystem. Moreover acquisition, retention and up-skilling of talent are equated to about 40% of a company’s expenditure. In consideration of the above there is thus a strong rationale behind investment in human capital."
