The mineral resource estimate for McKenzie Break was prepared for two scenarios:
- Scenario 1: A pit constrained Indicated resource of 48,133 ounces and Inferred resource of 14,897 ounces, and an underground Indicated resource of 53,448 ounces and Inferred resource of 49,130 ounces, for a total of 165,608 ounces of gold.
- Scenario 2: An underground Indicated resource of 85,059 ounces and Inferred resource of 58,373 ounces, for a total of 143,432 ounces of gold.
- Monarques Gold now has a combined measured and indicated resource of more than 3 million ounces of gold
Brad Loiselle, PMP
President and CEO, Founder
Brad Loiselle is the President and Founder of SKILLSdox O/A betterU and the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors for SKILLSdox India Private LTD, the operating Indian entity of SKILLSdox. Brad believes that education is a human right for all and he is focused on changing the world by providing access to quality, affordable education to the emerging markets.
A serial entrepreneur, Brad sees opportunities where most do not. Prior to founding the Company, he was the President and Founder of two successful companies. While being the catalyst for SKILLSdox O/A betterU, he feels he is nothing without the people behind and in front of him. Brad is a strategic thinker focused on staying ahead of his opponents, while always working to achieve a win/win solution.
Brad is the Past-President and Board Member of PMI OVOC, sat on the Board of Directors for the Indo-Canada Ottawa Business Chamber and authored the entrepreneurial handbook – Keep Moving 4Ward.
He is a husband, father of 3, serial entrepreneur, author and enthusiastic speaker – passionate about making a difference.
Chief Operating Officer
Dominique joins betterU following a career spanning 20+ years in senior roles across multiple geographies and industries. Most recently, Dominique served as COO and Senior Consultant for L&C Strategic Advisors and prior to that as Chief People Officer of Halogen Software, leading the people function through exceptional growth and through IPO to sale. Of particular note, Dominique led significant culture change initiatives, designed and implemented award-winning leadership and high potential development programs. With expertise in high growth organizations, Dominique is known for her strong leadership skills and her ability to bring practicality and alignment to strategy to all of her initiatives.
Director, Business Development NA
Lynda McGillivray is Director, Business Development for North America. Lynda is a dynamic Business Development and Client Service professional with extensive experience working in a fast-paced environment for over 25 years. Lynda is responsible for securing new content partners, monitoring sales and leveraging their marketing information/opportunities for betterU’s online marketplace.
Prior to joining betterU, Lynda was a Senior Learning Consultant with Algonquin College. She also has a successful history in Business Development with several start-up and multi-national companies such as Oracle, BEA Systems, SHL Systemhouse, and Learnix. Her past talents also include staffing, management and mentorship of personnel and exemplary customer service.
Lynda studied Marketing at Damelin College in South Africa, as well having studied Marketing at the Banff School of Management.
CRO Australia / New Zealand
Pankaj Raina is the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and permanent resident of Australia. Prior to this role, Pankaj was the Chief Operating Officer of betterU (SKILLSdox India Private Ltd.) and a citizen/resident of India and joined the company in October 2015. He has been a Director on the board of Skillsdox India since May 20, 2016. Pankaj has been successful in leading businesses across multiple segments throughout his 18+ year career by defining business and marketing strategies and translating them into high-impact implementations, operations and results including start-ups.
Pankaj has extensive cross-functional leadership experience across all core business functions with an emphasis on Marketing Strategies, Marketing Operations, Team Building, Productivity/Performance Improvement, Innovation, Business Excellence, Business Strategy / Development including responsibility for P&L. His experience also spans across multiple sectors including: Automobile, Banking Financial Services, Education, Healthcare, Telecom, E-commerce and Media. He is experienced working with highly-diverse Pan-India management teams, B2C and B2B marketing, and is recognized for building strong brands using integrated marketing methodologies across India.
Prior to betterU, Pankaj held several positions with successful companies like Brand Capital, Radio Mirchi, Times OOH, McCann Erickson, G2Rams (Division of Grey Worldwide) and Percept Advertising.
Mr. Raina holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising & Marketing from Rajendra Prasad Institute of Communication & Management.
Sameer Vatsa is the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for India and joined the company in June 2016. His responsibilities include heading the India Business Development initiatives, Partner Management and Sales Management.
Sameer has extensive experience and track record of success in business development, establishing profitable client and strategic alliances, and capitalizing on opportunities in emerging markets. He has been instrumental in driving sales, building winning teams, and securing key clients across South and East Asia as well as North America.
Prior to joining betterU, Sameer was General Manager, of a leading Infrastructure Company in India, heading a multimillion dollar national railroad tunnel construction project, overseeing all aspects of Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Staffing and Contract/Project management. He has also held leadership positions with Siemens and Intersystems.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), India.
Dipalli Bhatt, B.COM, MA, MBA
Strategic and Performance Manager
Dipalli Bhatt is the Manager, Strategy & Performance at betterU and joined the company in January 2016. Deepali is responsible for developing and delivering strategic objectives of the product, marketing channels and the organisation. She provides the management team with complex data analysis for the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
Deepali is a business performance professional with over 15 years of experience in defining organizational, operational and strategy performance in support of business goals and objectives across banking, technology, media and the non-profit sector. Deepali was awarded ’30 under 30′ managers to watch out for UTV Motion Pictures, a subsidiary of the Walt Disney Company.
Deepali holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, a Masters, Mass Communication/Media Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a Bachelors, Commerce from the University of Jabalpur.
Bruce Chick, MBA
VP Corporate & Investor Relations
Bruce Chick is Vice President of Corporate & Investor Relations at betterU, having joined the company in January 2017. He has more than 30 years of business experience in a wide variety of industries and has served on a number of boards and committees of non-profit organizations.
Bruce is an experienced investor relations executive, working with small to large-cap, multi-listed public companies (TSX/NASDAQ/AIM). Prior to joining betterU, Bruce initiated the investor relations program at DragonWave Inc. as investor relations officer and disclosure committee member.
At Cognos, (now IBM) Bruce was Director, Corporate and Investor Relations. During his tenure, sell-side analyst coverage of Cognos grew from 6 to 52 analysts, substantially increasing institutional investor ownership and share liquidity. Cognos’ market capitalization more than doubled during this period, when it was acquired by IBM at an all-time high market capitalization. Bruce was instrumental in Cognos’ unbroken string of inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World).
Bruce held the position of Chairman of the Board for TDH Ontario Inc., a not-for-profit international adoption agency where he was responsible for overall corporate governance.
Bruce holds a Master of Business Administration from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen’s University.
Neel Thakkar is Financial Controller and joined betterU in February 2017. Neel is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and brings extensive knowledge of the financial regulatory environment in India. Neel has 10+ years of experience in the areas of preparing financial statements for public and private companies, full life cycle accounting, financial management and audit.
Prior to joining betterU, Neel was a partner with Thakkar & Tekwani, Chartered Accounts in Ahmedabad Area, India and also was with Shah Somani & Co., Chartered Accountants.
Neel holds a Master of Commerce, Accounting from Gujarat University and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from S. M. Patel Institute of Commerce.
Hagai Amiel, MBA
Hagai Amiel is Chief Technology Officer at better and joined the company in June 2016. He is highly-skilled in enterprise level project management, establishment of IT departments in start-ups and in managing enterprise large scale IT project life cycle through all phases (POC to Production) on demand (AWS) and on premise. Hagai is experienced in managing desktop, Web and mobile projects (Native iOS and Android). Strong technical background in system architecture, database design and IT infrastructure.
Prior to joining betterU, Hagai was CTO for a financial trading start-up company and was the Development Manager for Labstyle Innovation (now DarioHealth Corp.) a digital health company, develops and commercializes patented and proprietary technologies providing consumers with laboratory-testing capabilities using Mobile (iOS and Android) and Web applications.
Hagai holds a Master of Business Administration and a BSc in Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of Negev, Beer-Sheva, Israel.
Chief Financial Officer
Jason is a CPA and comes with over twenty years experience running the financial operations for some of the technology industry's leading brands. Jason has previously served as COO and CFO of Conversant Intellectual Property Management (formerly MOSAID), VP Finance and Principal Accounting Officer of AVID Technologies, CFO of IBM Software Group Business Analytics Division, and VP Finance and Corporate Controller for Cognos. Jason has extensive experience in various funding transactions including private placements, IPO's, mergers and acquisitions. Jason will provide ongoing support to the Company’s financial team and if required, as a co-founder of a professional services company, he can also provide betterU will access to additional financial, management and investment support services.
Adric Gudbranson is the Creative Manager at betterU and join the company in August 2015. Adric is an experienced Creative Lead, with 6 years of experience managing teams working on multimedia and print projects for high profile clients from banking to sportswear. Most of his experience is in creating UX/UI design in the e-learning and online platforms, and has helped betterU create its marketplace.
Prior to joining the company, Adric worked with Brad Loiselle at Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge and iPal Interactive Learning Inc.
Adric graduated from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology as an Interactive Multimedia Developer.
