Yes JC... 15 Bil is a lot of shares. But as with all "Splits", percentages, values etc. all stay the same. The only thing that changes is the associated cost/value of the residual shares and the number out there.

So individual shareholders don't gain or loose anything.

I've never understood the panic associated with splits. Of course, in some cases it makes the shares more desirable to some (cheaper or expensive and available to a new level of shopper) and the value moves as new players decide to play (either because of cheeper shares for value buyers or more expensive to meet fund buy requirements). In this case, I see it more as housekeeping. Then again, that's an opinion and it could be wrong.
