Birchcliff Energy Ltd. ("Birchcliff") (TSX:BIR) today announces the filing yesterday with Canadian securities authorities of its Annual Information Form dated March 31, 2009 which includes Birchcliff's reserves data and other oil and gas information for the year ended December 31, 2008, as required by National Instrument 51-101.
Birchcliff intends to promptly mail to its shareholders, its 2008 Annual Report and its Notice of Meeting and Information Circular relating to the Annual and Special Meeting which has been called for May 14, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Calgary Petroleum Club in Calgary, Alberta.
Birchcliff has also filed its audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2008 and related Management Discussion & Analysis.
