Company Statement:

Braemore has diversified both geographically and in respect of product — nickel and platinum. Both metals have significant demand growth potential from end-users in quite separate industries. The company is focusing on nickel in Australia and both nickel and platinum in South Africa.

The development of the ConRoast process for PGMs over the past 12 years has been focused on improving the environment aspects (in terms of lower SO2 emissions) of PGM smelting, as well as the ability to treat PGM-containing materials that have very high chromium contents.

Management

David James Humann (69) Non–Executive Chairman
Mr Humann is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years experience in financial services. He was Chairman and Senior Partner of Price Waterhouse (Hong Kong and China) until 1994. He also served as Managing Partner of Price Waterhouse, Asia Pacific Region and was a member of the World Board and World Executive Management Committee of Price Waterhouse based in London and New York. Mr Humann is Chairman of Mincor Resources NL, a nickel mining company in Western Australia, Chairman of Matrix Metals Limited, a copper company in Australia, Chairman of Safe Effect Technologies Ltd, a fail safe brakes company in Australia, a non-executive director of India Resources Limited, a copper company in India, and a non-executive director of Monarch Gold Company Limited, a gold company in Australia, each of which is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Mr Humann is non-executive director of Exxaro Australian Sands Pty Ltd, a mineral sands company, and a non-executive director of Rewards Holdings Pty Limited, a privately owned group which manages extensive fruit, teak and other timber plantations in Australia. Mr Humann is also Chairman of Atomaer Holdings Pty Ltd.

Leon Coetzer Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director
Leon is a qualified chemical engineer. For the last 20 years he has been employed within the Anglo American plc stable, of which 16 years were spent at Anglo Platinum. His last position was Head of Process Control and Instrumentation, where he defined and managed the automation and process control strategy for Anglo Platinum. The programme has established itself as a recognised world leader in its field. He is also a member of the Executive Process Committee, the Research and Development Council, and advisor to the asset optimisation initiative at Anglo Platinum. Throughout his career, he has managed both technical and production units of large operations, including both platinum concentrators and smelters, and was selected to partake in Anglo American’s global leadership programme. He is a member of the advisory board of the process engineering faculties at both the University of Pretoria and the University of Stellenbosch and is also an executive member of the South African Council for Automation and Control.

Christopher Walter Lambert (47) Non–Executive Deputy Chairman
Mr Lambert’s financial background is predominantly commodity based in the City of London. Over a period of 17 years, Mr Lambert headed up the London and global trading for Elders Finance Group, The Rural and Industries Bank of Western Australia, Barclays Bank and Prudential Securities (USA). During his time at these companies, his duties included managing global dealing operations in the major financial centres around the world, the structuring of corporate and project finance transactions for governments, central banks, industrial companies and mining houses. In 1997, Mr Lambert left London to act as a consultant to mining houses predominantly in Australia. During this period he also worked closely with a far eastern government body whose investments included soft commodities, mining assets and substantial property portfolios. Mr Lambert is a director of AIM listed Altona Resources Plc, Atlantic Coal Plc and Cue Energy Plc, and a director of ASX listed Pepinnini Minerals Ltd.

Clayton John Dodd (51) Executive director
Mr Dodd is a Chartered Accountant by profession. He has over 20 years experience in finance and resources in Australia and overseas. Mr Dodd was previously Managing Director of Striker Resources NL , a diamond exploration company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, for over 13 years. He is a director of Brinkley Mining Plc. Mr Dodd is an alternate director of Atomaer Holdings Pty Ltd.

Michael Elias (56) Non-Executive Technical Director
Mr Elias has over 25 years of extensive, international experience in all aspects of nickel resource development in both laterites and sulphides, including project generation and evaluation, exploration planning and management, development studies, open cut and underground mine geology, resource/reserve estimation and resource economics. Mr Elias previously held the position of Chief Geologist – Nickel Resource Development at WMC Resources Limited. Mr Elias holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geology from the University of Melbourne. Mr Elias is a Director of AIM listed Mercator Gold Plc, ASX listed Australian Mines Ltd and CSA Australia Pty Ltd.

Anthony John Samaha (38) Non–Executive Finance Director
Mr Samaha holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics degrees. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and an Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Mr Samaha has over 16 years experience in providing accounting and corporate advice in a diverse range of industry sectors, including resource development. He is a director of AIM quoted resources companies Altona Resources Plc and Irvine Energy Plc.
