Brigus Gold CEO Wade Dawe Talks Timmins Production and Expansion

Brigus Gold Corp T.BRD announced September 20 an updated 43-101 resource estimate for the 147 Zone and the Contact Zones of the Grey Fox property within its Black Fox Complex, Timmins Mining District, Ontario. Based on 488 holes totaling 65,000 metres, Zone 147 contains 279,244 gold ounces indicated and 51,261 ounces inferred, and the Contact Zone contains 201,606 gold ounces indicated and 39,800 ounces inferred, for totals of 480,850 gold ounces indicated and 91,061 ounces inferred.

The new Grey Fox resource represents a 412% increase from the previous indicated estimate of December 2011. The Black Fox Complex comprises 18 square kilometres and includes the Black Fox Mine, which in 2Q sold 18,419 gold ounces produced at $799 per ounce.
