Dr. William Pfaffenberger, B.A., M.A., Ph.D.

Director, Chairman / CEO

Dr. Pfaffenberger became CEO of Cancana in April 2008. A retired Professor of Mathematics after 38 years in the Mathematics and Statistics Department of the University of Victoria. Pfaffenberger also served as a Member of the Board of Governors for the University and was Chair of his department at the time of his retirement. Pfaffenberger also served as Chair of the Board of Pension Trustees for 11 years overseeing the management and direction of the pension fund with a value of over $400 million.

Pfaffenberger is also President and CEO of Torch River Resources Ltd. having joined that company in April 2006. Other public company positions include being a Director of Molycor Gold Corp. and Goldrea Resources Corp. Pfaffenberger is also President of a private minerals company, Fundamental Resources Corp.

Andrew R. Male

Director, CFO

Mr. Male brings over 24 years of business management, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and company directorship experience. Male has successfully owned companies in the fields of commercial and residential construction as well as being a partner in a mortgage brokerage company.

In the public markets; Male has been a partner and Director of a company that developed a web based e-commerce application that enjoyed partnerships with National Governing Bodies of Sport which Male was responsible for. Other companies include industrial manufacturing, mineral exploration as well as oil and gas exploration and production.

Male is also Managing Director and Partner of Westridge Management International Ltd., a company focused on international corporate finance services. Male also serves as a Board Advisor to oil and gas companies in the U.K. and Middle East providing investment guidance, due diligence and corporate finance services.

Christopher Morgan

Director

Mr. Morgan is a mining sector professional with over 35 years of experience including the energy and environmental sectors. This includes 20 years with Billiton International Metals (previously the metals arm of Shell) to operating company Managing Director level.

Morgan has been involved in the management of large, open pit mining operations in South America, Africa and Central Asia with Western Mining Corporation. Morgan has also held a steady succession of senior corporate and project management roles in the fields of coal, metals, environment and oil and gas which led him to establish a consultancy firm specializing in these areas.

Morgan is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and holds an Honours degree in Mining Engineering and a Master's in Mineral Production Management.

Warren Boyd

Director

Mr. Boyd is a Fellow of the Gemmological. Association & Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain (F.G.A.), a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada (F.G.A.C.) and a Fellow of the Canadian Gemmological Association (F.C.Gm.A.). Boyd is an experienced international coloured gemstone, diamond evaluation and marketing expert.

Having acted as a technical advisor and rough diamond valuator to a number of corporations involved in diamond exploration and mining, Boyd has also been a consultant to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and to Canada Customs and Excise.

From 1997-2005 he was a team member of Diamonds International Canada (DICAN) Ltd. who were appointed as the Canadian Government Diamond Valuators (CGDV) under contract to the Government of Canada. He has attended numerous CGDV valuations of the Ekati and Diavik Diamond Mine rough diamond production on behalf of DICAN.

Dr. David Madill, M.D

Director

Dr. Madill successfully operated a medical practice in Victoria, B.C. from 1970 until his retirement in July, 2007. Madill has held a long standing interest in the financing and operations of small mining companies and has helped in fundraising for several of these.

Presently a Director of three other TSX Venture Exchange companies: Goldrea Resources Corp., Molycor Gold Corp. and Torch River Resources Ltd. He has served as an independent member of the audit committee of each of these companies and is chairman of the audit committee for Goldrea Resources Corp. Madill is the chair of the audit committee of Cancana.

David S. Tam, BSc (Pharm) LLB

Director

Mr. Tam has been a partner of the law firm of Parlee and McLaws LLP of Alberta since 1999. Having been called to the bar in 1990, Tam specializes in securities transactions and has developed extensive experience in numerous securities and corporate matters.

Scope of work has included both issuers and agents for a variety of public offerings, private placements and regulatory compliance matters for issuers listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange. Tam also has a number of internationally based clients in Asia.
