| VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 4, 2009) - Cantronic Systems Inc. ("Cantronic" or "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CTS) announced today that Kim Oishi has been appointed to Cantronic's board of directors. Mr. Oishi will also serve on Cantronic's audit committee. His long and successful tenure in a number of China-based companies and expertise in corporate finance and business development, coupled with his proven management abilities, will further strengthen the breadth of talent we have on our board," said James Zahn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cantronic Systems Inc. Mr. Oishi has more than 15 years experience in financing and advising growth companies, and has served in senior management and board positions on a number of public and private companies. His experience in Asia dates back to the early 1990s and he has a keen interest in the growth potential of China-based companies as they develop links with the North American capital markets. Mr. Oishi is the Senior Vice President Finance & Business Development for Hanwei Energy Services Corp. (TSX:HE), serves as a director of Zongshen PEM Power Systems Inc. (TSX:ZPP) and Grand Power Logistics Group Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GPW), and was formerly a director and President of Hanfeng Evergreen Inc., all four are Canadian companies with operations in China. Mr. Oishi has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia. |
