VICTORIA, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Carmanah Technologies Corporation (TSX:CMH.to - News) (“the Company” or “Carmanah”) today reported its first quarter financial results for the period ended March 31, 2011 and the resignation of Ted Lattimore, CEO, effective December 31, 2011.

Sales for the three months ended March 31, 2011 were $9.6 million, up 18% from $8.1 million for the same quarter in 2010. Net income for the quarter was $0.2 million compared to break-even in the same period of the prior year.
