Chariot Resources at Two Global Investment Conferences; Final Draft of ESIA Has Been Received

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 9, 2009) - Chariot Resources Limited (TSX: CHD.TO) announced the President and CEO Ulli Rath would be presenting at the Rodman and Renshaw Global Investment Conference on September 10th in New York. This Conference is well attended by the investment community and the keynote speaker at this year's conference is former Federal Reserve Chairman Allan Greenspan.

On September 12th, Chariot will host a trip for Mining Analysts to its 70% owned Mina Justa Copper Project in Peru.

The Company also is a sponsor of the important PERUMIN Mining Conference in Arequipa Peru, September 14th to 18th. Ulli Rath will be a keynote speaker on September 15. The PERUMIN- Mining Convention is an international event that has been organized every two years by the Institute of Mining Engineers of Peru since 1954. It is one of the most important mining events in Latin America and promotes technological exchange between professionals and business opportunities among the companies participating.

Marcobre SAC has received the pre-publication ESIA for final review and comment; the final version will shortly be submitted to the Peruvian regulatory authorities seeking project approval.
