I think the other benefit, if I understand correctly, is you could ride Teck for as long as you want growing your money there before me taxman would take his dues....basically deferring tax 

your 180k in teck for 10 yrs doubles to become 360k

tax is now on half of 270 (135k)

as opposed to selling, paying tax  on 90 and then having less to invest .....

does this make sense, it’s late so I might be way off lol
