Our Member of Parliment had a community meeting near where I live yesterday. He is in the NDP but his riding includes Schaft Creek. He knew about Schaft Creek and I told him my opinion about what is going on there. He agreed with me that a copper smelter is needed in this area.

I know he is a federal politician and mining is a provincial matter but the more people hear about this deposit the more questions will be asked. I wish Elmer would pump up this project to local politicians. I think the more questions Teck has to answer the more effort they will put into it.
