My thought was more directed towards Teck using an autonomous & electric fleet to move things around the property. No fuel and a lot less workforce required at $100 000 per year. Direct impact on opex.

I never considered the aspect of taking the metal outside SC, but using that railway sounds like an interesting idea. Not sure what was the plan for this aspect in 2013 and the cost involved.
