Message: Another buyout! B2Gold takes out Sabina gold 850 million

The "kicker", if you want to call it that, is the premium that B2Gold is paying is only 45% on top of Sabina's 20 day average stock price.

Sabina closed at $1.58 per share on Friday. B2Gold is buying all shares for $1.87.

Of course we EXPECT to do waaaaay better than that with the Schaft Creek/CUU buyout. But how many times do you see these acquisitions and think, "Are we realisitically going to get multiples of our existing share price if the deal closes tomorrow?"

That's why I'd feel a whole lot better if our share price wasn't mired in the 20-25 cent range. We could breathe easier if we were stagnant at $1 or better.
