Thanks YM, on the strength of your post I just read an article in the Globe posted an hour ago confirming what you stated. Evidently, it's not official though as the info was supplied by a 'source', although I assume the Globe wouldn't publish it if there was any doubt. You're probably right about CIC wanting Teck to be sold but another possibility is that CIC simply wants a straightforward split with no strings attached. Maybe CIC wants both?
