Coronation Minerals announces name change
TORONTO, Aug. 17 /CNW/ - Coronation Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: CMV) (the
"Company") is pleased to announce today that it has filed articles of
amendment to change its name to "Guyana Precious Metals Inc." The Company will
commence trading under its new name on the TSX-V at the open on August 18,
2009, under the new stock symbol "GPM".
The Company announced a "Strategy Update" in a press release dated June
18, 2009. The release describes the Company's strategy to acquire and explore
precious metals properties in Guyana, South America with the support of its
17% shareholder, Guyana Goldfields Inc.
Coronation Minerals Inc. is a Canadian based exploration and development
company. The Company presently controls and holds the Coppermine River
Project, Nunavut Territory and the Rory Claims, Yukon Territory. Both of these
projects are described as Copper-Nickel-Platinum-Palladium prospects.
