...at this point i the "Chavez Factor".  All the talk, articles and quotes regarding joint venture\minority partner along with the political turmoil and distinct possibility of Presidential Dictatorial Power is of concern.  Chavez isn't stupid.  He is well aware of the precarious position of the U.S.\world economy and the strategic importance of owning one of the biggest gold mines on the planet in the face of collapsing currency markets.  His allies (some with mining expertise) are also well aware of the logic of substituting gold for dollars.  A leopard does not change its spots.  That is what concerns me.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
