I don't think you are missing anything. Whatever the deal is with Ven is suspect, at best. Money makes people (even Doug) do things that they normally wouldn't, and this looks to be the only viable alternative for GRZ to get some semblance of payback considering the economic issues in Venezuela. I certainly hope this is not something KRY is considering or will eventually assist GRZ with. Past history tends to repeat, and anything to do with Ven will turn out to be bad trouble.
