Pau, what I post is only my opinion as I interpert what I see and read. If I knew you were a lawyer I would probably accept more of what you post as factual but to date you haven't answered that question.

Are you a lawyer and do you have experience with these types of cases?

I have been honest with you that I'm no lawyer. I'm a trade person who has dealt with legal documents through work so I have some experience but it is very limited.

I'm a Canadian? Are you Canadian or American? If American perhaps there are different rules that apply here in Canada. Work with me here to understand better. 

Please post what this progress in December was or a link to the document. By not doing that you open up reasons for me not to believe you.
