The general concensus is that Venezela is a failed socialist state.

As far as the comment on the US, which is a Republic & not a democracy, seems a history refresher about the Great Compromise would be beneficial. Further comment should be taken to off topic.

But, this is about Venezuela, and the concensus is that Venezuela is a failed socialist system.
