"They would be better off paying off thier debts" but unfortunately they are broke. I've said this before and still believe that Venezuela is going to have to restructure/default and have the world bank bail them out. Once the world bank floats them then the remaining ICSID (also world bank) awards should get paid. Still hoping for the best for all of you but this is a long slow process with a lot scumbags with thier hands in the till. In the next couple weeks the 30 day bond grace period runs out. I think they'll pay it but if not Venezuela is officially in default. Maybe by "Next Easter. Good Luck all.
