 . Caracas.- On Tuesday, the former Minister of Petroleum and former president of Petróleos de Venezuela (Pdvsa), Rafael Ramírez, asked the United States court to annul the judgment issued last February with which he is obligated to pay $ 1,400. million to the companies Harvest Natural Resources Inc and HNR Energía BV.
 
 Ramírez's defense argued that the lawsuit filed by the companies was not notified or pointed out with the proper details.
 
 The court said that "since Ramírez was not properly informed and that he lives in Europe, his absence was not deliberate, and he has acted as quickly as possible to resolve the ruling despite his difficulties, given that he lives in another country" , Reuters reported.
