Yep. Saw the court documents that came out yesterday. I remember those claimants missed the deadlines and the judge berated them for simply not filing in time. They appealed and the judge stood firm.
Now they want to insert themselves in front of everyone else, cirumventing the process, and sue for shares of Citgo in other venues. Pincus laid out a very persuasive argument against this last-minute end-around but as the legal expert said in the Reuters report, neither Pincus or the Third Circuit court has jurisdiction in what others do in other courts. This will just have to play out.
There will probably be others who will follow. Then the loser(s) will file multiple appeals until they hit a dead end.
This could go on for a long time.
