03:48 PM EDT, 08/09/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Dolly Varden Silver (CV.V) on Thursday said it is boosting the size of a flow-through share offering due to strong demand for the securities.

The company said it now expects to raise $4.2 million in the sale, up from its initial $3 million plan announced a day earlier. It will now sell 7.64 million of the tax-advantaged shares priced at $0.55, with funds earmarked for exploration of its eponymous property in British Columbia.

The company's shares were last seen up $0.005 to $0.48 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
