12:27 PM EDT, 05/08/2019 (MT Newswires) -- Dolly Varden Silver (DV.V) on Wednesday said four deposits at its eponymous property in British Columbia's Golden Triangle region contain more than 44-million ounces of silver as the company released a resource estimate for the site.

The company said it the new estimate came after metallurgical tests on ores from the Dolly Varden and Torbit deposits could be profitably produced.

The company now pegs indicated resources at the property at 32.93 million ounces and inferred resources at 11.43 million ounces.

Dolly Varden last released a resource estimate for the property in 2015, containing data only for the Wolf and North Star deposits.

The company's shares were last seen up $0.005 to $0.32 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
