Bernard's just touting the superior nature and performance of Separion, and why not? It's quite a statement to claim Mercedes never had an incidence. He's pushing for Separion to become an industry standard. This plant is a big deal. Why not promote the product now that it's available to everyone? The critcism's are used to elevate Separion's quality in relation to the others.

I'm not too concerned how they make money. Just get the sales and make a profit. Leclanche, Litarion, EFL, combine them all. I don't care. Just build a lot and sell them.

They should be able to combine EFL's current architecture with Separion and create a better battery in the meantime. This can generate sales, immediately, and as the lines get converted, they can improve prices and push the green initiative.
