Message: Fab4Lib & TerraE

Litarion GmbH was a partner in battery reasearch project Fab4Lib, led by TerraE.
Litarion were "a producer of cells, electrodes and ceramic separators and recently joined a consortium to set up cell production in Germany."

Li-Tec Battery GmbH, who closed down their own cell production, own the premises used by Litarion.
TerraE CEO, Holger Gritzka, worked for Li-Tec as Head of Industrial Sales.

Feb 2018 -TerraE, hardship and hope are close together
"Even more difficult is the situation at Litarion, the former Evonik Industries (WKN: EVNK01) subsidiary, which slipped under the umbrella of the Canadian Electrovaya (WKN: 631863). She had to file for bankruptcy at the beginning of the year and the Kamenz team is now hoping for a financially strong buyer. This at least causes delays and if nobody steps in, Fab4Lib will lack know-how in the fields of electrodes and separators."
