Infrastructure spending has been mentioned in the past couple issues of the Globe and Mail. According to Canaccord analysts, Yuri Lynk and Catherine Siu, in a report entitled, "Canada: A Country Under Construction", about $123 billion needs to be spent on Canada's infrastructure and another $115 billion more to meet growth requirements.
Alberta's recent budget alone allotted $22.2 billion for infrastructure over the next 3 years.
With so much upgrading and projects to be developed, it should bode well for Empire.
