Yes Brian, shorting is another investment strategy and if done within regulatory confines a valid and necessary one.  The issue on the CSE is that they allow securities to be shorted outside the parameters.  These "naked shorts" can remain undeclared and uncovered ad infinitum.  This allows a whole new opportunity for price manipulation and is unfair to the people who play by the rules.  I do agree with you that great things will happen to CBDT and the shareholders that have invested for the long haul.
