Reason for EDR Jump?

From a newsrelease dated today:

"At the request of IIROC (Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada), Endeavour Silver Corp. announces that the Company does not know of any material reason for the increase in volume and price today in the stock."

I suspect this is due to Jaime Carrasco making it a top pick on BNN's "Market Call Tonight" program yesterday evening. The pitch sounded pretty good, so I'm not surprised the stock is up about 11%.
