Endeavour Silver Jumps 9% After Company Reports Surge in Q3 Production

02:13 PM EDT, 10/11/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Endeavour Silver (EXK) reported Thursday Q3 production results from the company's three silver-gold mines in Mexico, saying silver production surged by 13% to about 1.4 million ounces. Shares jumped 9% intraday.

Gold production dropped by 5% to 12,968 ounces, bringing the silver-equivalent output to 2.4 million ounces given the 75:1 silver: gold ratio, according to a statement.

The company further noted that silver sold soared by 20% to 1.5 million ounces, while gold ounces sold slid by 5%.
