" Mining Industry News: Big Bear Acquires 10 Wyoming Properties

August 6, 2010 (FinancialWire) (Go to http://www.financialwire.net/?s=ftrdnwswnd for all of today’s featured news.) — Big Bear Mining Corp. (OTCBB: BGBR), an exploration and development company focused on the acquisition and development of gold and other precious commodity projects, said that it has finalized the acquisition of one hundred percent of ten properties in Rattlesnake Hills, located in Natrona County, Wyoming.

The company said it expects that early stages of exploration including mapping, prospecting, and soil sampling will begin immediately and a full exploration program will be announced in the next few weeks.

Big Bear considers the properties to be a viable target for exploration due to their proximity to newly discovered gold mineralization on the adjacent property held by Evolving Gold (TSX Venture: EVG).

Evolving Gold recently announced a $15 million private placement from Gold Corp, who owns a gold mine in the Red Lake District, to expand their drilling program.

Big Bear has selected Cowboy Exploration based out of Jelm, Wyoming to conduct exploration on the properties. Cowboy Exploration worked on the properties for their prior owner, Crescent Resources, and based on their familiarity, is expected to be able to begin work quickly, according to Big Bear.

Big Bear’s VP of exploration, John Glasscock, will be heading the exploration on the properties and, according to the company, has already gathered a team of 10 geologists and prospectors.

Arizona-based Big Bear Mining is focused on the acquisition and development of gold and other precious commodity projects that demonstrate high probability for near term production."
