ExGen Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: EXG) (OTC PINK: BXXRF) (the "Company", or "ExGen") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jason Tong (CA, CFA) to the position of CFO for the Company. Mr. Tong replaces Mr. Brian Harder, whom is resigning as CFO. Mr. Harder will remain as a consultant to the company.

Jason Riley, the President and CEO of ExGen stated, "We are very pleased to have Jason Tong joining our team at this stage. Jason is based in Vancouver and ExGen has moved offices to Vancouver effective July 1, 2015. Vancouver is one of the primary junior mining hubs in the world, so moving the head office to Vancouver from Calgary has been part of our long term strategic planning. Hiring Jason and relocating to Vancouver will enable ExGen to more effectively pursue future potential corporate acquisitions. We continue to actively evaluate acquisition targets that fit with our strategy of building a portfolio of royalty and joint venture assets."

Mr. Jason Tong, CA, CFA has served in senior management positions for a number of public and private companies. Mr. Tong was previously the CFO of Pathway Capital Ltd, a venture capital firm with a portfolio of early stage ventures with market capitalization ranging from $5M to $100M. Mr. Tong was the CFO of Turnberry Resources Ltd. from February 2012 until the Company was acquired in April 2014. Currently, Mr. Tong is the CFO of Bluefire Mining (since March 2011) and holds a senior management position with a private technology start-up. In his career, Mr. Tong has been a part of multiple initial public offerings and reverse takeover transactions.
