I understand that other McFaulds properties have chosen to drill in winter when the ground is hard which makes drilling easier.

However, as Mr Peter Smith has indicated that drilling will take place in Feb/March, I was browsing to see what the land is like in JBL area. I found this site which indicates that :

The shores in this area are a mixture of intertidal mud, sand, and salt flats, estuarine waters, intertidal marshes, freshwater ponds, swamps, and forested peatlands. [1]

Can anyone shed some light as to whether drilling in spring is a good idea.
