Why would management sell shares and issue dividend?

Still in their better interest to have someone else take over the company to get to those shares.

Personally, I give that a 0% chance of happening.

Plus, it is a poor decision for a company to give away money that they have no source to replenish from.

So...weighing self-interest vs history of poor decisions...I will bump it up to 25% chance of happening.
