From Careers page on FVR site : In regards to job opportunities at our current project sites (Peace Region), Finavera will be working with a general contractor during the construction phase. This means that the hiring will not be done directly by Finavera, but will be done by the contractor. This is typically the process for a company that is developing a wind project. Nonetheless, when we reach the point later this year of announcing who this contractor will be, then we can inform the community on how to apply for employment with that company. It is important to Finavera for the contractor to hire qualified local people from the community and that will be conveyed to whoever is brought on to help build our projects.
