("Finavera" or the "Company") (TSX-V: FVR) is pleased to announce it has closed a $179,460 non-brokered private placement announced on April 13, 2012. The private placement consists of 535,700 units at a price of $0.335 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share and share purchase warrant, with each warrant exercisable at $0.50 for 12 months from the date of closing of the private placement.
