First Majestic Silver Reports Increase in Q2 Production; To Update 2019 Guidance in August

10:04 AM EDT, 07/15/2019 (MT Newswires) -- First Majestic Silver (FR.TO) reported Monday production of 6.4 million silver equivalent ounces for Q2, up 25% from 5.1 million ounces for the same period last year. Production consists of 3.2 million silver ounces and 33,576 gold ounces, which represent year-over-year increases of 16% and 32%, respectively.

For 2019, the company currently expects production to be in the range of 24.7 million - 27.5 million silver equivalent ounces. However, it is planning to update its guidance when it releases its Q2 unaudited financial results on Aug. 7.
