Message: Favourable for GCU?

To make sense of the miriad factors in the market place and relating them to ones particular investments is very confusing!

Trying to put some news, gurus comments and a bit of tech analysis together I thought it may be worthwhile to highlight some opinions of respected analysts and TA on GCU in particular.

The "gurus" recent editorials.

LEEB

"The naked shorts will be destroyed in the gold market"

* "Establishment has banks taking in customers gold and turning it right around and leasing it to the bullion banks in order to supress the price of gold"

Comment- will we soon have a gold bank run on the banks as depositors lose trust in their bank?

TURK

"Summer doldrums over, gold and silver to explode"

"Drought in mid west=food inflation=one of the drivers sending gold and silver much higher from here. We can expect a rally from here that will take your breath away"

Comment- Resulting on a short squeeze on gold?

Pento

"This major Fed move is about to create an explosion in Gold and silver"

* "cyclical period of deflation is now close to and end."

* "ECB decided to lower its interest rate it pays to banks money deposited there to 0%"

Result- "overnight deposits parked at central bank plunged by 484 euros in one session"

If Fed follows ECB (0% on bank deposits) US money supply to soar and $US would tank and gold and silver would soar"

So far the gurus have been generally premature in their predictions, but we shall have to just follow events!

One other point , the fall out from the libor scandal could be massive, and regulators may be forced to be more aggressive in looking for other issues (gold & silver manipulation?) Just my opinion!

Regarding GCU.

Bollinger bands are narrowing, this normally precedes a big move one way or the other. Not possible to say which way. Looking at $hui on stockcharts slow stochastics are turning up (bullish) and chart looks as if it has just reversed upwards. If major mining shares take off GCU should follow, barring any bad news from GCU! Another NR due!

There are many caveats to comments and TA analysis in this market IMO. First Bananke has the habit of whatever he says gold goes normally down! (good news for gold made to look like bad news to discourage PM investors?) TA patterns completely turned on their head by massive intervention- so caveat emptor!
