GCU certainly looks very oversold. RSI at 32 (below 30 very oversold). Slow Stochastics at 5 (below 20 very oversold). SP at over 2 in mid September and less than 1.2 now.
2 Possible scenarios.
The Kodiak scenario
Kodiak (now pdg) hyped up their Hercules project, excitement built up price rocketed and finally the project was declared not economic.
The Trelawney scenario
Trelawney also created a lot of interest in their large deposit and were finally taken over. What was interesting was the movement of the SP a few weeks before the take over.
They went from around 3.50 to 2.30 approx, recovered a bit and then got taken out at 3.30.. The question to ask, what happened between 3.50 and 2.30? Was it manipulated down to 2.30 before the take over? Is something like this happening to GCU?
Well is GCU the case of Kodiak or of Trelawney, or some other scenario.
The movement of the SP from over 2 dollars in mid Sept to under 1.2 dollars now is indeed puzzling and to boot we allegedly have a CEO buying the shares! A PEA is due soon.
We retail investors are kept in the dark, but we shall find out what is going on soon, one can only draw their own conclusions as to what is going on!
