TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 11, 2014) - First Nickel Inc. ("FNI" or the "Company") (TSX:FNI) is pleased to announce that all matters presented for approval at FNI's annual meeting of shareholders held on June 11, 2014, have been duly authorized and approved, as follows:

(i) the election of all management nominees to the Board of Directors of the Company; and

(ii) the appointment of KPMG LLP, Chartered Accountants ("KPMG") as auditors of the Company for the ensuing year and authorization of the directors to fix KPMG's remuneration.
